- The answer came from music; it was the design driver for the second year pavilion.

- How do we get greater height using this simple (i.e.: cardboard) material? And, what is the strongest geometric form using cardboard that doesn’t require the end cap? Answer: a triangular tube. We created three tubes nesting together where one is inside the other. We were able to create interlocking tubes that could extend 30’ into the air.
- The result is a topography resembling a wave; it produces arches where you can walk through and follow the waveform.
- Due to the event’s multiple venues, the whole thing was moved in mid-festival; an all-volunteer effort, involving hundreds.
